project Summary
Exhibiting jewellery is an expensive endeavour. In third year, we have several exhbitions, all that require promotion, staging and travelling to - not to mention the very expensive raw materials!
We are raising money to cover these costs by selling our handmade jewellery at stalls and in raffles.
Who are you?
We are the six final-year Jewellery and Silversmithing students, rocking the 5th floor. We are the next generation of unique makers about to launch onto the world market.
Your story
Hidden up on the 5th floor, we are the hammer-swinging, flame-wielding, saw-piercing students, exploring traditional metal techniques and contemporising them. Each of our work is completely unique and driven by passion and work ethic.
There are several world-leading exhibitions occuring during our final year, as well as our own degree show, each important in our development as international makers. To further our careers, we need to invest in promoting ourselves to our best professional ability. Therefore, we are raising money through selling our jewellery to enable us to afford these exhibitions.
Where will the money go?
If the minium target of £640 is reached, the cost of a photographer to shoot our work and business portraits would be covered.
Should we reach our upper target of £920, then a promotional catalogue and printed material as well as exhibition staging will be covered.
Any further money raised will be used to cover raw material costs and travel.
