A short summary of my project

I am travelling to Romania with a team of 8 young people with a charity called Exodus. 

Who are you?

Im called Jessie and I study Occupational Therapy at Jordanstown! I am co-leader of a team with 8 14/15 and 16 year olds. My other co-leader is called Ryan and he studies Medicine. The leader is called Jose and he works for Exodus.

 my story

We will travel to Romaina, specifically a town called Jibou, and will stay there from 1st-12th July. There is a church over there that we will be getting alongside and working with the local kids every day. 

This is important to me because the people we will be serving need the help. Romania has rich parts but also has very impoverished areas. I love working with kids and bringing smiles to their faces. This will be my 3rd trip to Romania to do similar work.

You will make such an impact on lots of lives through your donations. Not only will the Romanian people be impacted but myself, my co-leaders and the team will greatly benefit from this trip.

Where will the money go?

The money goes towards my travel and the resources needed to run a kids camp for the amount of time we will be doing it.

If I raise more than needed we can go wild with resources for camp. We could provide food and clothes for the people too and of course lots of sweets and toys.
