summary of project
I am aiming to raise £500 to aid with the payment of my travel costs and kit for my volunteer expedition to the Fijian Islands. I am going to Fiji to teach nursery school children English, Maths and Sports among a variety of other skills and activities.
About Me
My name is Lauren Ghio and I am a second year Psychology student studying at Ulster University.
I undertook this project because I enjoy working with children and a teaching environment. I will be teaching young children, both primary and nursery school, topics such as English, Maths and introducing Sports Coaching as part of their new curriculum. This project and its aims are important to me because I feel all children should have access to education regardless of social class, economic background and location. The impact of this project will be immense and influence the lives of generations of Fijian people as with education and new skills they will be able to pass on their knowledge and make a living for themselves.
Where will the money go?

- Visa- £120 Fijian dollars
- Accommodation- £200
